Free Tools & Utilities
Small things we built to solve real problems. Take them.
Over four decades of building software, you accumulate a pile of small utilities — the script that finally made a stubborn export behave, the template that turned a two-day estimate into a two-hour one, the reference sheet you keep re-deriving. None of it is worth selling. All of it is worth sharing.
Everything on this page is free and unrestricted. No signup, no email address, no license key. Download it, use it, modify it, ship it inside your own work. If it saves you an afternoon, that's the whole point.
Downloads
Standalone applications and utilities. Windows installers, portable executables, Android APKs, and self-contained packages.
Handset
The fastest three taps to a phone call. A replacement dialer for Android built around big favorite tiles, a thumb-sized keypad, and nothing else.
Deadstop
The phone locks itself when you start driving. Maps, calls, music, and 911 stay reachable — everything else waits until you deliberately unlock it.
A note on security warnings. Our desktop executables and Android packages are not code-signed, so Windows SmartScreen and Android may warn you before installing. That's expected for independently distributed software. Scan anything you download, and only install it if you're comfortable doing so.
In-Browser Tools
Utilities that run entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored, nothing leaves your machine — the work happens locally in JavaScript.
Browser tools are in progress. Check back shortly.
Code & Templates
Source code, project scaffolds, configuration templates, and spreadsheets. Hosted openly so you can read every line before you run it.
Repositories are being cleaned up for release. Check back shortly.
Guides & Documents
Reference sheets, checklists, and short guides — the kind of thing worth printing and pinning next to the monitor.
Guides are being written up. Check back shortly.
The Fine Print
- Free means free. No cost, no signup, no email capture, no strings.
- Use them anywhere. Personal projects, client work, commercial products — all fine.
- Provided as-is. These are utilities, not products. No warranty and no support commitment.
- Test before you trust. Try anything that touches your data on a copy first.
Need Something That Isn't Here?
If one of these tools is close to what you need but not quite there — or if you're facing a problem that deserves a real solution rather than a utility — that's the work we do. Tell us what you're trying to solve.
